Teralis is an IT consulting firm based in Canada. The Site is provided for informational purposes — to describe our services, share insights, and let you get in touch. Use of the Site does not by itself establish a consulting engagement or any other contractual relationship; any services we provide are governed by a separate written agreement.

You may access and use the Site for lawful personal use and reasonable business research. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems
• Disrupt or interfere with the Site’s operation
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest content beyond what is permitted by our robots policy
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting the contact form

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the brand mark, articles, and the underlying code — is owned by Teralis or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may share short excerpts of our articles with appropriate attribution, but you may not republish, reproduce, or commercialize Site content without our prior written consent.

When you submit information through the contact form or by email, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate
• You have the right to share it
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that information solely to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence (see our Privacy Policy)

Articles and other content on the Site reflect the experience and opinions of Teralis practitioners. They are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice. Your specific situation may differ; consult appropriate professionals before acting on anything you read here.

The Site uses third-party services (notably Netlify for hosting and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection) and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teralis and its directors, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability arising from the Site (separate from any consulting engagement, which is governed by its own agreement) is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold Teralis harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
