Custom Software Development
Off-the-shelf software rarely fits the way your business actually works. Teralis builds custom applications, internal tools, and integrations — led by a senior PM, delivered in two-week sprints, with working software every cycle.
What we do
Every project starts with a scope you sign off on, broken into two-week sprints with something you can open and use at the end of each one. A senior project manager runs it from day one — the same person for the whole engagement, not a handoff to whoever is free. You see progress in working software rather than status decks, which also means a change of direction in week four costs a conversation instead of a change order.
Who this is for
Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools, startups that need a first version built properly, and teams carrying a manual process that exists only because no software fits it. Also a good fit if you've been burned by an agency and want to see progress every two weeks.

Common questions
How much does custom software cost?
Fixed-scope starter projects begin at $5,000 and typically deliver in four to eight weeks. Larger web applications and multi-system integrations start at $15,000 over eight to sixteen weeks. Both are quoted against a written scope, so the number you agree to is the number you pay.
What happens if we want to change something mid-project?
You see working software at the end of every two-week sprint, which is when changes are cheapest to make. Small adjustments get absorbed into the next sprint. A change that materially moves the scope gets re-quoted before anyone builds it, not after.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. The source code, the repository, and the infrastructure accounts are yours, and we hand over documentation as part of delivery. You are not renting your own product back from us.
Who actually writes the code?
A senior development team, coordinated by a Canadian project manager who owns the outcome and is your single point of contact. You never manage developers directly. That structure is what lets us deliver at a price a small business can carry.
