Common questions
Should we choose Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud?
It usually comes down to what you already run. Teams on Microsoft 365 with Windows devices and an existing Active Directory get less friction from Azure. Teams built around Google Workspace, or doing heavy data and analytics work, often land better on Google Cloud. We are certified on both, so the recommendation is not a sales position.
How long does a cloud migration take?
A straightforward email and file migration for a small team is typically a few weeks. Moving line-of-business applications and databases takes longer because the work is in the testing, not the copying. We stage migrations so you are never in a position where a rollback is impossible.
Can you keep our data in Canada?
Yes. Both Azure and Google Cloud have Canadian regions, and we configure residency at the point the environment is built rather than trying to retrofit it. If your sector has specific residency obligations, tell us early — it changes some architecture decisions.
Our cloud bill keeps growing. Can you reduce it?
Usually, yes. The common causes are resources provisioned for a peak that never comes, storage tiers nobody revisited, orphaned instances from old projects, and licences still assigned to former staff. A Cloud Audit finds them and tells you what each one costs you per month.
